For three days, a group of year nine students had the privilege to experience life as a LaTrobe University student. The opportunity made us realise how to pursue our dreams while encouraging others. We observed lectures and practical activities which focused on nanotechnology, robotics and biology. This included working with chemical substances and materials, building miniature robots and researching DNA. We were given the chance to roam and explore the open food court, shops, maze-like gardens and different styles of contemporary buildings. There was a vibrant and lively learning atmosphere throughout the university grounds. This excursion has given me an insight of how I could achieve my dreams and it has opened my eyes to future possibilities.
