Student Recognition Award- Whittlesea Council

On October 28, Year 10 student Ayesha Ahmad was presented with an award from our local council to acknowledge her leadership and community spirit. The award was part of the City of Whittlesea’s Student Recognition Program which recognizes the efforts of students’ participation and involvement in both their school community and the wider community.

Ayesha was chosen as Epping Secondary College’s nominated student due to her work as the Student Representative Council President and Music Captain, as well as her impressive involvement with a range of community service programs, with a particular focus on cross-generational connections.

We are all very impressed by Ayesha’s commitment to bringing about change and making our community more positive and inclusive. Congratulations, Ayesha.
